Next Saturday (12th) D7017 will be working the usual "Summer Saturday" Diesel diagram starting with the 11:25 from Bishops Lydeard, two round trips. The loco will run light engine to/from Bishops L.
At Minehead station over the weekend of 12/13th there will be the very popular Camra real ale festival. It runs from 11 till 11 on Sat and 12 till 4 on Sunday. This is held actually on the platform.
Extra services are planned to run into the evening on Saturday formed of the Diesel Multiple Unit to allow people to stay later than usual.
A not to be missed opportunity if you like real ale and classic hydraulic traction!
