In preservation she was first based on the Dean Forest Railway before moving onto a new site at Thingly Junction in about 1991. Sadly preservation activities at this site alongside the Great Western London-Bristol Mainline outside Chippenham ended and the locomotive moved on to Williton on the West Somerset Railway in 1995. Owned privately by Dr. John Kennedy, she is managed by the DEPG on his  behalf an employed on support services on the West Somerset railway.
