The DEPG is very pleased to be taking part in the 30th anniversary celebrations of the full re-opening of the West Somerset Railway.
D7017 will be running on Tuesday 9th June hauling the Heritage Freight Train from Minehead to Bishops L and return.
D7017 is the only piece of motive power left on our railway that worked on 9th June 1979. This date was the grand re-opening of the entire length of the line.
The timings are: Minehead dep 11:05 , Bishops L arr 12:55. Bishops L dep 13:10, Minehead arr 14:48.
