Paul B took some close up pictures of the underside of the loco during a visit to Brush on 22nd April showing the new cabling to No.2 traction motor connection box and the repaired blower ducting.
The new traction motor bellows arrived last week and have been fitted.
It is planned to re-bogie the loco during the coming week.
Traction Motor Overhaul - Work continues at Bowers Electricals. The field frame has been cleaned and painted with anti-tracking varnish during the past week and the new connecting cables have been fitted. A new V ring insulator band has been fitted to the commutator. Re-assembly and testing of the motor is expected shortly.

Back at Williton, the hand brake components from No.1 bogie (which were removed before the loco left) have been rubbed down and painted.
