Update 22nd August.

The exhauster overhaul was completed by cutting a 25mm hole in the cable connection box and installing a new Kopex conduit fitting.
Attention has now turned to overhaul of some of the internal cab fittings.  The DSD pedal assemblies have been brought from store and will be cleaned and painted prior to re-fitting to the loco.  Roy is going to rub down and paint the boxes.  A "Light Cream" paint has been chosen for the cab interior, similar to the original scheme when new.

Very conveniently, 33 048 returned to depot on Saturday afternoon and the opportunity was taken to perform confirmation measurements of the timber requirement for the cab floors. It is hoped to order the timber next month and manufacture the new cab floor trap panels at Williton.
Word from Cranmore suggest that things are proceeding well.  However, as completion is not expected until November or December, consideration will be given to what jobs could practically be done on the loco there to speed things up when it returns to the WSR.
