Sat 15th Aug Update.

Terry visited Cranmore on Tuesday 10th August and took some pictures of the latest work being done on the loco.  Work on the outer skin and structure of No.2 cab secondmans side (including the floor structure) has now been completed to a very high standard and attention has now turned to the fixing of the fibreglass roof.

Looks like the electrical cubicle will need a good clean!
At Williton, I decided to paint the refurbished exhauster myself as all of the painting team are currently "otherwise engaged"!  The pictures show the finished result done in mid-grey gloss.  Well, that was the most appropriate tin of paint I could find in the store!  Hopefully No.2 exhauster will also be painted the same colour to match.

Some new holes will need to be made in the cable connection box to suit the modified wiring arrangements and new covers for the brushgear gear access will need to be manufactured.
The exhauster will probably now be stored until the loco returns.
