Sounds like good progress on the D1010 project with many of the team working on the loco today. Ian doesn't know the full story as he was busy working on 33057 (see its own project page for update) but an attempt was made to start No.1 engine. It appears the team ran out of time. Some of you will recall that an auxiliary fuel system is currently being connected up in order to test run the engine prior to the fuel tanks being properly treated.
D832 was started though and ran for a while.
Three members of our team were busy demolishing an old box van today no longer required.
