| Grand Trains Event 06. Over the weekend of 21st/22nd October, we ran three locos on both days on passenger service trains as part of the railways 'Grand Trains Extravaganza'. | The next 5 pictures were taken by Eddy Napier also on the Saturday. First off, D1015 is seen working a return charter working from Penzance at Taunton destination London. It would be great to see this loco on the WSR again. The loco last worked onto the line with a Dunster by Candlelight train. The Blue Anchor shuttle train is pictured at Minehead and Blue Anchor. The Class 14 is pictured about to Pilot an up train from Minehead in the afternoon. The Class 25 is pictured on the front of the 33 at Minehead with the 10:55 up train. |

| Shed activities: -Lots of visitors were welcomed to our heritage centre and yard, both of which are normally open during special events. -Many of the radiator elements were pressure tested ready for installation in D1010s cooler group which is also being painted. -More work was progressed inside D7018 with many of the floor planels re-instated and new locks installed in the loco as well as the painting. -Further inspection of 33057s traction motor cables took place to assess the extent and seriousness of the fire damage.
