| Work Report Sat 10th July. By Terry Deacon also with photos by Eddy Napier.
A very quiet day at Williton. D1010 performed well covering the DMU turn. That left Ian to carry on with the overhaul and inspection of 33057's exhauster. Colin and Terry continued the rebuild of Sentinel/Rolls Royce engine. Martin and son Simon put some finishing touches to the Hymek Transmission intended for D7018. On Sunday, D1010 was out again on the DMU diagram as part of our Summer running days. Julian and Paul were the crew with Matt and John providing depot cover. D832 is inside the shed at Williton WSRA works undergoing repairs to the bodywork prior to repaint. Colour to be confirmed! Other than that no major exciting news/problems to report some would say exactly as it should be! The loco allocations for the next few weekends covering until the end of July can be found here: http://www.depg.org/2009dates.html Allocations for dates beyond this will be published as soon as available. Terry photographed some of the shed activities below. |
