Paul B visited Cranmore on Monday 21st June and took some pictures of the excellent standard of work being performed there on the loco. Following advice from Cranmore Traincare, it has been agreed that the fibreglass cab roofs will be removed to permit repair of corroded metal work along where they are attached.
At Williton this Saturday, the restored stator was re-fitted back onto the exhauster motor. The pictures show stages of the process.
The exterior of the unit will also be repainted of course!
