Highlights were many. This year we ran three non-stop trains that were actually non-stop this year!
We were very pleased to have D1062 on the lineup this year an excellent locomotive that performed well. Thanks to the team from the Severn Valley for coming. The loco was hauled in using a GBRF Class 66 which are grateful for.
D9520 made a welcome return for the third consecutive year from the Nene Valley Railway. Thanks to Gordon and team for bringing it.
From the home fleet, all locos performed well with no major problems.
Right time running was the order of the weekend. A mixture of semi fast, fast and all stations trains added variety to the timetable.
A lot of the locos were turned on the turntable for interest purposes.
Tornado provided the steam traction for one diagram.
We were pleased to be able to welcome people to our Williton home. D6566 was on standby which luckily we didn’t have to use.

Plenty more diesel running in 2009 to come up including the Summer running days and the Grand Trains Event in October. As for 2010.... Well this event proved very popular so hopefully it will be repeated again next year. Feel free to email suggestions for future events.
