Examination of the loco at a very cold Cranmore reveals that repairs to the exterior of the loco are now essentially complete apart from re-fitting the No.1 end right hand marker light and work has now moved inside the cab. The metal work inside the windscreens has been replaced and rebuilding of the floor support structure is under way and expected to be completed within the next few days - weather permitting!
The right hand side DSD pedals in No.2 cab have been fitted into the box.
I will probably not be able to get to Cranmore again for a few weeks but it is hoped to get reports and pictures from other sources!
