The hardwood sections for the new cab floors have arrived and received two coats of wood preserver. Delivery of the new plywood floor panels is expected during the coming week. A few of us visited a floor covering shop in the adjacent industrial estate and have chosen the new vinyl covering for the panels.
Paul B has started sanding down the fibreglass cab panels prior to painting with those from No.2 cab being given priority.
News from Cranmore suggests that work on No.2 cab should be completed before the end of the coming week apart from fitting the glazing and wood sections for the door surrounds. It is therefore hoped to begin installation of the floor in that cab as soon as is practical.
