31st October update.

No new pictures from Cranmore due to "technical difficulties" but our on-site correspondent, Colin, reports significant progress with the welding repairs to the front of No.1 cab and preparation for painting being performed on other areas of the loco.
At Williton, the pull rings have been fitted to the first set of cab floor panels and excess vinyl has been trimmed from the edges.
Roy has been busy refurbishing the DSD pedal assemblies and a top coat of light cream paint has been applied to the applicable components.  This is to be the main colour used for the cab interiors and is believed to be the same shade as originally used in the locos when built.
