The replacement cab floor panels were delivered during the week as expected. These have been manufactured in 15mm marine grade plywood cut to the required sizes with provision for the pull ring. It had been expected that just a recess was to have been made for the pull rings but the panels arrived with a hole cut right through! This will not be a problem though.
One cab set of panels has received two coats of wood preserver. These are intended for No.2 cab which is the first one to have been finished at Cranmore and will be covered with the new vinyl floor covering which was collected today.
Latest news from Cranmore suggests excellent progress. It is hoped that some more pictures will be received in the next couple of days.
Roy is continuing his excellent refurbishment of the DSD pedal assemblies.
He is taking them home to complete but had loaded them into his car before I could get a picture of them!
