Update 22nd October.

The Exhauster High Speed Switch was fitted onto the FV3 valve in No.1 cab now it is apparent that the valve is ok and will stay in position.
The compressor was run from batteries in order to test the DSD system and that seems to work ok.
A bolt securing the fuel tank that was identified as missing during the original examination of the loco at BL in April was replaced.
The loco was shunted from No.3 to No.2 road in the shed so it should now be much easier to access the outside world.
It is hoped to start test running of the loco ASAP.
Brad has painted the bogie springs red and hopefully may be able to do some more on the loco during the forthcoming DEPG Work Week.
