Roy has performed wonders on rubbing down, priming and undercoating the first of the DSD pedal boxes as can be seen in the picture. The pedals themselves are being similarly treated.
The stator of the original triple pump motor from the loco is seen following initial cleaning with electrical cleaning fluid.
Terry visited Cranmore on Sunday 12th September. The picture taken by him shows that the windscreen surrounds at No.2 end are now complete and the positions for the marker lights to be re-fitted are drawn on.
The side has been needle-gunned and the first rotted section cut out.
The loco appears to have acquired a 82H shed plate!
